Order 69 was one of a series of contingency orders which the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic were secretly programmed with. Unlike Order 66, this order demanded that all attractive female Jedi were not to be executed, but instead captured and married off to the most successful trooper(s) in the capturing unit.

In a botched attempt to execute Order 69, the Mary Sue Jedi Knight Etain Tur-Mukan was instead killed. The last Imperial to execute the order was Mara Jade Skywalker, who found, captured, and deflowered Luke Skywalker. In time, she would call him Master.
