"Hoot hoot, Link, up here! Hoot hoot! It appears that the time has finally come for you to start on your adventure! You will encounter many hardships ahead... That is your fate. Do not feel discouraged, even at the toughest times. Go straight ahead and you will see Hoth Castle. You will meet a princess there. Fondle her. If you are lost and don't know which way to go, then look at your Map Screen. The areas you have explored will be shown on the Map. Press START to enter the Subscreens and Z/R to find the Map. On the Map Subscreen, you will see a flashing dot showing which way you should go next.

Did you get all that? Do you want me to say this again?

  • Yes
  • No"

- The Owlman of Mandalore greets Link.

The infamous Owlman

Owlman of Mandalore, or as nerds prefer, "the" Owlman of Mandalore, was a mysterious cryptid first sighted in 1976 in the village of Mand in Mandalore.

The highly embarrasing cryptid was often seen by young girls, seen as embarrasing for the police. The cryptid was hunted down by many who failed to catch it. Oh, the travisty! The cryptid was meant to have gone off to the planet America on the worst side of the Galaxy, but since then... none have seen it.

The summer in which the Owlman was seen can be attributed to a huge number of "paranormal" events, which were seen in the community: Aliens were sighted, and a lake monster was also sighted.
