Sernpidal was an unimportant little planet on the edge of the Outer Rim of the galaxy, which the Yuuzhan Vong attacked in the very earliest stages of their galactic invasion.

On the First Day, the Yuuzhan Vong installed a weird dovin basal thingy on the planet's surface, but things remained peaceful. Secretly, the dovin basal caused a gravitational tug on the planet's moon, pulling it out of its orbit. On the Second Day, people began noticing something was wrong, and Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Anakin Solo arrived to evacuate the population. Unfortunately, all they had to work with was the Millennium Falcon, so they couldn't ferry many people. Meanwhile, the spaceports were working too slow because of ridiculous pat-down procedures. There wasn't enough time to evacuate the entire populace. On the Final Day, the sky darkened; the moon hung ominously in the sky; and Han, Chewie, and Anakin worked tirelessly to evacuate a few more civilians, but finally time ran out, and the moon smashed into the planet... and killed Chewbacca! YOU BASTARDS!

Unbeknownst to Han and Anakin, Link appeared five minutes before the impact of the moon on the Final Day and played the Song of Time, thus reversing time back to the dawn of the First Day. But Link still let Chewbacca die, because Link was a jerk.
